Ever wanted to be an Angel and help someone in need?

Well this Christmas you can!

Local charity Accommodation Concern are launching their new initiative called “Accommodation Angels” whereby you can either donate your money or time as a volunteer.

Your giving would fund the following:

£10 will fund a volunteer’s monthly phone bill so they can support people looking for help
£20 will fund an hours housing, benefit or debt advice from a qualified advisor
£50 will fund a bedding pack or a start pack for someone moving in to new accommodation
£200 will fund a washing machine/tumble dryer for one of our homes for single homeless people

Current volunteer roles are:

Money Mentor (helping people with budgeting
Paper Pal (helping people fill out forms).

Accommodation Angels will all receive the following:

Be invited to members only events,
Be asked to give feedback at our member forums,
Would be given priority invitation to our open events,
You would have a say at our Annual General Meeting.
You would also have the assured knowledge that you would be contributing to a much needed service in the community.
