In Anticipation of Fun and Fundraising at Wicksteed Park

Last winter, we transformed Wicksteed Park into a hub of community spirit with our quiz night, which not only filled the venue but raised over £8,000 for our life-saving work at Accommodation Concern. Some brave souls even took the challenge further by sleeping outside in the cold, showcasing their commitment to supporting our cause.

This year, on the 21st of February, we're doing it all again with your help. We're grateful to Wicksteed Park for hosting us once more and expect an even larger turnout. Whether you're a quiz pro or just looking for a good time, there's a place for you. We encourage workplaces to bring their teams for a friendly competition perhaps to see who can outsmart their local industry rivals… or a least just have fun participating!

Sign-ups are still open, and for those daring to join the sleepout, we ask you to aim for at least £100 in sponsorships (you can play the quiz for free). Many have found this goal surprisingly achievable, especially with a single post on social media rallying huge, unexpected, support. One of our own housing advisors started their fundraising page and hit 140% of their target within two hours! Every penny raised will fund our operations, from supported accommodation to life-changing advice, making a tangible difference in our clients' lives and the wider community.

Last year, we saw business leaders, councillors, and even our own advice centre staff amongst the brave participants toughing it out under the stars. This dedication is set to continue with kind people already committed to repeat the experience.

• Cost: £10 per head or £70 for a team of 8 players
• Team Size: Up to 8 players per team. Solo attendees can form teams on the night!
