Project in a Box

Accommodation Concern is proud to distribute the contents of the “Project in a Box” to our local community. This innovative project enabled us to offer our clients in need hand-made face masks and greetings cards from Sodexo’s Community Payback scheme to build safer places supporting families fleeing violence. These beautifully crafted hand-made masks have been much appreciated by our supported rough sleepers and families in crisis in the North Northamptonshire area.

Hayley James-Mangan, Interventions Regional Director for the East of England Community Rehabilitation Companies owned by Sodexo explained:

“Community Payback is a court-ordered sentence which involves completing unpaid work in the community. Project in a Box was our response to the Covid-19 pandemic to ensure that people could continue to pay back for offences they had committed by providing vital services to local organisations by working from home. It has been a great privilege for those undertaking Community Payback to craft these textile products for people in need and it’s a pleasure for us to work in partnership with Accommodation Concern which provides a vital service to individuals in housing crisis and to those in need of rehabilitation back into the community.”
