Hours of work 37.5 hours per week
Salary £26,000 - £28,000 (dependant on experience)
Holiday entitlement 23 days annual leave plus statutory bank holidays
Based at Various Sites Across Northamptonshire
Accountable to Tenancy Support Team Leader
Direct reports Tenancy Support Workers

We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Senior Tenancy Support Worker to join our team, overseeing the delivery of our Supported Accommodation service. In this role, you will play a crucial part in helping individuals build the skills required to sustain their own tenancy, foster independence, and connecting them with community resources.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of Tenancy Support Workers (TSWs), providing guidance, support, and case management to ensure a high-quality, person-centered support service.
  • Coordinate the Supported Accommodation placements and conduct comprehensive risk assessments.
  • Work closely with clients, assisting them with tenancy-related matters, financial management, and access to services.
  • Liaise with external agencies to deliver well-rounded support for clients with complex needs, including mental health challenges.
  • Contribute to service compliance, ensuring adherence to policies, health and safety standards, and landlord responsibilities.

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience in supported accommodation or related services and managing or supervising staff.
  • Strong understanding of complex issues like mental health, substance misuse, and housing support.
  • Excellent communication, crisis intervention, and de-escalation skills.
  • Adaptability, patience, and the ability to work calmly under pressure.
  • Proficiency in using case management systems and Microsoft Office.
